Skin Signature Melting Rich Cream
SK-II, Asia’s first “homegrown” billion-dollar brand, is one 0f Japan’s holy grail in skin care. I haven’t had a chance to try this particular product ($250 per bottle at Saks) but you really can’t go wrong with SK II. It has a rating of 4/5 stars at makeup alley, with the only downside being the pot it comes in (most people prefer their face creams in tubes). Here are some reviews of those who’ve tried it:
“This melts into my skin like a dream with minimal massaging and leaves my skin firmer, hydrated and softer than ever. I can also use this on under eye area and it doesn’t irritate at all. My hubby has commenting since using this in my routine my skin looks amazing and feels baby soft. He has commented on how lovely I look since using this.”
“I love this cream! It has evened out and smoothened my skin, moisturized dry patches, and helped balance out my oily patches. Personally, I’m a big fan. I’ve tried out hundreds of face masks from famous brands to farfetched variants as Asian-ly wierd as it gets (mung beans, chlorella, gold caviar, salmon eye…you name it). I have to say SK-II’s Facial Treatment Mask is hands down the best mask I’ve ever used. The effect is instantaneous and very very noticeable. It leaves your skin glowing, translucent, and gives it that instant lift. The downside is that its quite expensive, and as with any mask, doesn’t really do anything spectacular long term. If you’re looking for pure indulgence for special occasions though, this mask is definitely for you.
