Speaking of eventful, this Korean Hanakimi is on a more serious note than I thought. This episode’s violence and attempted rape scene had me completely floored. Thinking back though, the manga had its comedic moments but the overall tone is a melodrama. The Japanese version just pushed it to the extreme and this somehow contorted the perception of what Hanakimi is supposed to be. So far, To The Beautiful You is gearing up to be one of the better dramas this season.
